same opportunity to receive an education and build their future supporting a quality public education system will help improve the lives of millions of children around the world gender inequality occurs when a person does not have access to the same opportunities as another person because of their gender historically this has happened a lot to women who have seen how they're working and social opportunities have been worse than men's this situation has improved in some countries but there's still a long way to go to reach true equality for these reasons reducing inequalities requires an effort from all
